The focus of our business is the translation of documents. By not branching out into other linguistic endeavors, we have been able to refine the art of written text translation in order to pass on our expertise to you.
The written word is very valuable in communicating messages and information. It is critical to portray accurate data and information, but it is also important to be precise with the many nuances that make a language unique and understandable to those who read it.
It is this capacity to convey the message of the written word that is the unique ability of a translator. We specialize in document translations. It is our focus on this type of communication that has allowed us to employ a select level of translators in more than 130 languages.
We have translated all kinds of documents, presentations, forms and questionnaires, including technical translations, legal translations, patent translations, medical translations and many other types of language translations for numerous companies and organizations in the public and private sector.
What our experience continually reinforces is the importance of successful, effective communication. If you fail to reach your audience in a manner that they are comfortable with, your message and the information conveyed is lost.
Excellent document translations need excellent translators. By working
closely with a pool of 2,000 translators, and drawing from a worldwide
database of 35,000 additional translators as needed, we are able to
insist on higher levels of education and experience than would
ordinarily be acceptable.
To even be considered, translator candidates must have earned at least a bachelor's degree (preferably a master's degree) in linguistics from an accredited college or university, in addition to a minimum three years of full-time professional translation experience with at least three recognized translation agencies. With these requirements met, we then examine the specific background and subject matter experience of the individual translator to ensure the best fit for your document translation. This is particularly important for a technical translation project or one that requires a specific knowledge base, such as a legal translation, patent translation or medical translation. Only the most highly qualified linguists with demonstrable success are selected for the Clark Translations team.
To ensure your language translation is of the highest quality, Clark Translations has a strict Quality Control process to make sure you end up with an accurate and effective document translation. We employ our own staff of Quality Control specialists who review the work of the translator.
Our Quality Control specialists have backgrounds in language structure and composition, as well as presentation and document formatting expertise. It is their job to proof your document translation for potential errors or omissions. They will comb through your language translation line by line to ensure that there is no missing or repetitive text, that style and formatting have been maintained, and that there is consistency and integrity in the finished project.
We have implemented the Quality Control steps, along with procedures for handling inquiries that may follow your document translation delivery, for the purpose of providing you with the best possible document translation and customer service.
